The Introducing Cisco Data Center Technologies (DCICT) is a 5-day instructor-led course that introduces students to Cisco technologies and products that are deployed in the data center: network virtualization, network technologies, unified computing, automation and orchestration, and the Cisco Application-Centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI). The introductory level of knowledge that is provided in these courses is targeted for individuals who can perform basic configuration tasks. The hands-on lab exercises focus on configuring features on Cisco Nexus Operating System (Cisco NX-OS), Cisco Unified Computing System (Cisco UCS), and Cisco UCS Director.

The DCICT training prepares students for the Cisco CCNA Data Center certification and for associate-level data center roles.

  • Explain traffic forwarding mechanisms in Cisco ACI

  • Describe programmability and orchestration capabilities of Cisco ACI

Pré requis 

The knowledge and skills that a learner should possess before attending this course are as follows :

  • Good understanding of networking protocols

  • Good understanding of the VMware environment

  • Knowledge that can be gained by attending the Introduction to Data Centers Networking (DCICN) course
