This course begins with an Introduction to ADC environment. The first learning module is optional; targeted to pre-sales engineers or those with little-or-no experience with application delivery controllers.
Alteon Technical Overview introduces Radware’s ADC; then Setup Configuration moves on to initial device configuration, followed by Alteon Switching & Routing for Layers 2 & 3 configuration of the device.
Next this basic-level course offers Introduction to SLB (Server Load Balancing) with the Alteon, followed by Basic SLB Persistency using Cookie Insert.
This course also covers SSL Configuration for authentication & encryption services, and participants learn about Radware’s High Availability redundancy configuration. Finally, participants learn to use Alteon’s Monitoring & Reporting features.

Radware Hands-on Lab

In this basic-level course, all topics are explained in theory and implemented using hands-on lab exercises via remote access to a lab. Participants should complete lab exercises in tandem with learning modules. It is NOT advised to complete all learning modules before beginning lab exercises
Participants are automatically assigned to a lab when initially registered for this course.

In both the instructor-led and eLearning courses, participants use their own laptop computer to complete the hands-on lab exercises. Participants will use well-known applications such as PDF Reader, VNC, Telnet, SSH and possibly other Radware-proprietary apps. It is important to have administrative rights on your laptop.
